Hilary has been making sock critters since 2006, when her sister gave her John Murphy’s book Stupid Sock Creatures for her 28th birthday. After grasping the general concept of how to turn spare socks into playful creatures, Hilary developed her own unique creature-pattern and has been replicating it ever since. To date, she has given away and sold hundreds of these little guys. Each critter is sewn by hand and takes 1.5 to 2 hours to make, from first cut to final button eye.
